Crystal is a member of  British Association of Teachers of Dance (BATD) and she trained under Roxanne Buchanan, who trained at Owen Sound, Ontario. Crystal danced competitively, winning medals and trophies in Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. She has earned bronze, silver, gold and blue ribbon medals from Glasgow for Highland dance performance. Crystal is currently the Vice President of Capital City Pipe and Drums. She has been teaching Highland Dance since 2000 and took her teachers’ test in 2001 and passed with commendations.
